Horizon Fitness T101 Treadmill Review: Our Verdict
The Horizon Fitness T101 ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to treadmills designed for use in the home. An extremely quiet motor, a comfortable running surface and a reasonable price tag put it near the top of the list if you want to buy a solid home treadmill that won’t paralyse your wallet.
Manual control over your speed and incline is another very welcome feature in the T101, but if you want a vast choice of customisable workout programs, this is something you’ll have to settle without.
As for the general performance of the treadmill, it is one very sound piece of equipment, and appears to have been very intelligently designed; Horizon seem to have been very conscious of what makes a treadmill ideal for using in a regular home. This is one of the quietest treadmill you will come across, so if you want to watch the living room TV while jogging, you can do so with ease. Another big plus is the comfort levels it offers the user while running. As already stated, the running surface is very roomy, while the arms of the treadmill are very nicely posititioned and don’t rattle around when vibrating. The surface itself feels nice and cushioned so it won’t cause any pain to your feet.
All-in-all, the Horizon Fitness T101 is easy to assemble, folds up nicely, is extremely quiet and offers a very comfortable running surface which rivals that of a gym-quality machine. It doesn’t have a huge amount of customisable workout options, but we think that with such a modest price tag this can be forgiven.
