Proform 505 CST Treadmill Review: Our Verdict
The price tag on the Proform 505 CST treadmill is not as high as many other treadmills, yet the build quality is just as solid. It certainly does not feel like a cheap machine, and comes with plenty of space for arm and stride motion, even for taller folk over 6 feet tall.
Some design aspects could be improved though such as the peculiarly shaped cubbies for holding items like water bottles. Even a large water bottle won’t hold inside them. Luckily though, any fears that items could fall out when the treadmill vibrates can be put to bed, becuase this is one sturdy machine that does not rock around when you are running.
If you want to listen to your music while you run, you can take advantage of the built in speaker system which is iPod compatible. The sound produced is not exactly stereo quality but is certainly better than having your earbuds in.
A few design tweaks and more customization options for workout programs would be a welcome addition to this treadmill, but with the modest price tag attached to it, the Proform 505 CST treadmill offers a lot for the money. If you’re after a solid entry level machine, this treadmill deserves your attention.
